I know how that feels like,take it from someone who has been doing it for almost a decade.Having to hide your true self from the world can be uncomfortable,even painful at times because of whatever reasons you feel the need to keep it to yourself.What's worse is that inner struggle which holds you back from going out there and meeting other people and talking to them.Your family and friends can support you but no one will understand this better than yourself and it's you alone who can fight and win in the end.
